It seems to be the time of year for several distilleries to roll out some new limited editions. Here is a selection of these new bottlings:- Glengoyne is about to release their oldest single malt-The Glengoyne 40 year old. This is presented in a beautiful hand blown crystal decanter, together with aleather bound book signed by the distillery manager, which contains tasting notes and details of the distillery’s history. Only 250 decanters will be available, each costing £3750. Jura is introducing a limited edition whisky collection inspired by the Papa of Jura (three mountains so called for their similarity to female breasts!). The three 15 year olds will be available in presentation boxes, priced at £100/bottle or £300 for the set. The edition will be limited to 1300 bottles.
