Boasting to be the most northern distillery on the mainland, the distillery is situated on the south bank of the Wick River in that town. Established in 1826, Wick proved an ideal spot for remote distilling because of its sea access. Deep yellow colour. Flowery, peaty nose. Light, fresh and salty, with a nutty oilyness. Appetizing, pre-dinner drink.
