Glencoe is known in Scotland as the 'Glen of Weeping'.Here in 1692 Campbell of Glenlyon's men under the order of King William, massacred the MacDonalds of Glencoe. Some were slain in their beds, and others who tried to escape were cut down and left to die in the snow.
Now Glencoe is famous for its imposing scenic beauty. At times this is a sad, awesome landscape and at others truly majectic.
This malt is invigorating and refreshing, slightly oily on the palate and with a rich honeyed sweetness.
