Sadly it was announced yesterday that the UK government is adding 55p to the duty paid on Scotch Whisky, an increase of nearly 10%. With fuel duties increasing as well you can be sure that will have a knock on effect as the transportation of casks/bottles will also increase in cost. New prices will start filtering through from our distillers soon but we will of course endeavour to keep our prices the lowest possible |
