Located near the pretty village of Portnahaven on the western shore of Loch Indaal on the island of Islay in Argyll. This is the most westerly distillery in Scotland and is sheltered from the cruel Atlantic winds by a range of hills known as the Rhinns of Islay. The water is drawn from the hills immediately behind the building.
