Tasting Notes:
On sniffing a decent sized dram there is a scent of autumn fruits, with a delicate cinnamon aroma that hints at the remarkable complexities of this well aged malt. Those fruits leave a honey and caramel sweetness on the palate that lingers, evolving into the most refined, molassed sugar finish
The Dancing Stag Series. On a dark windy night with the moon looming over the Highlands, returning from a whisky buying trip the Directors of Robert Graham were confronted by a magnificent stag who appeared to dance in the moonlight. Thus this new line of inspired whiskies. Coincidentally, this happened as our new store on Canongate, Royal Mile was opening in an area King David the 1st created after seeing a vision of a stag with a cross between its antlers.
